How we came to be

​

In 2001, I attended Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco. while I was there, people asked me for help with using Macs, so I decided to call myself 'ARHS Mac Dude!' I decided that would be the name of my production team as of 2009. In 2020, I came up with the call sign KMAC as a way to shorten the name (when we use it for TV.)

In 2022, KMAC TV has created a DailyMotion Channel. The unofficial launch party for KMAC TV is tentatively set for July of 2022 (subject to change).

We had planned to launch in 2020, but due to the pandemic, our plans were forced to change significantly. Below is a summary of changes we've been forced to enact in order to move forward with the phased in launch of ARHS Mac Dude Productions. We apologize for any inconveniences that were caused. Most of these changes were beyond our control. Had we been able to control some of these things, we would have.

Some significant notes:

• Due to the ongoing pandemic, HealyFest has been cancelled indefinitely. We might bring it back in the future, but don't count on it. 

• Due to unforeseen circumstances, KMAC Radio was terminated as of May 26th, 2021.

• Due to unforeseen circumstances, KDOG Radio has been off the air since DJ Patdiddy's final episode aired on May 26th, 2021.

• Due to multiple setbacks, the unofficial rollout of ARHS Mac Dude Productions Media Services will begin in July of 2022. We'll be working on VHS to digital conversions, and our Dailymotion channel for the time being. 

• The rest of ARHS Mac Dude Productions Media Services will now be enacted in phases. This is due to the cost of operations.

• A significant portion of the phases are now being put on hiatus until we find an investor to help us with the startup cost. 

• A new set of ideas is also in the works (pending investors).

• We're in the process of finding some funding sources so we can get a physical location. The funding drive will be kicking off this summer!
